Nearly 1 Million People Tuned In When This TikToker Asked Individuals To Share Their Most Bizarre Cruise Ship Stories, And Apparently, Things Get A Little Wild On The High Seas

When one imagines a cruise, they typically think of a relaxing, oftentimes tropical, getaway filled with sunshine, buffets, drinks, and dancing. In many instances, however, that idealized picture couldn't be further from the truth...

That's why when TikTok user @lindseytowery77 asked, "What's the most unhinged thing you've experienced on a cruise ship?" Cruisegoers flooded (no pun intended) the comment section with stories of their worst experiences at the high seas. Here are 23 of their most chaotic and cringe-inducing stories:

1."Someone snuck their pet raccoon onto the ship. Nobody was aware of it until someone's vape went missing. When they found the raccoon, it had also gotten into someone's stash of melted M&M's and was asking for more snacks."

2."My entire family of around 15 people booked an inexpensive cruise. The tickets were cheaper because the ship had a bad history and had been struck by lightning, which had caused a fire. The day before our cruise, the ship was struck by lightning again."

Around 7 a.m., it was announced that he had been found. I later ran into him at one of the shows and asked what happened. He said he went back to a room with a woman to hook up, and they both were so drunk that they slept through everything. They were only found once the crew started going door-to-door."

All of this came to light when we were scrolling through pictures of the friend who actually did the stuff and saw the name tags of the two workers who found him. The innocent friend got a strike against his name on that cruise line, and he didn't even do anything."
