General Hospital is about to witness the return of Kelly Thiebaud. She played the role of Dr. Britt Westbourne, who had stolen Rocco Falconeri’s embryo from the hospital. As the actor is gearing up for her comeback, she revealed being nervous about the same in her latest interview.

Kelly Thiebaud reflects on her return to General Hospital

In her recent interview, Kelly Thiebaud opened up about her return to General Hospital.

Speaking with TV Insider, Thiebaud stated that when she left the show, she “felt like I was at the height of the work that I had done and and my acting was growing. Thiebaud added that she exited the show “at that peak moment” but now she needs to rebuild everything. This includes her performance, dialogue delivery, “the blocking and the props and everything.”

The 42-year-old also expressed her nervousness about her comeback. “I’m a little nervous to see my first couple of episodes, but I’m sure it will be fine.” The actor continued that she missed everyone on the show, from the crew to the hair and makeup department. She further stated, “I had a full breakdown in the makeup room with my old makeup artist and Cynthia Watros, who plays Nina [Reeves]. So, it was a really overwhelming first day back, and I was just so excited to see everyone and see that some things had changed, but it also had still stayed the same.”

Thiebaud also expressed gratitude towards the fan for the love and support. She shared, “It just feels really good, and it’s just more of a confirmation that I’m supposed to be here right now. I’m supposed to be back on the show. There’s a lot of story to be told, and I’m just excited to get to entertain everyone again.”

While Kelly Thiebaud is back, it is yet to be confirmed whether she will return as Britt. The character was killed two years back, so there are chances the actor might be back in a new role.
