Why Aren't Kordell Beckham and Rob Rausch in the Main Cast of “Love Island: Beyond the Villa?”

The fan-favorite stars from Love Island USA season 6 are returning to the screen for an all-new spinoff series, Love Island: Beyond the Villa, but some of the season's most familiar faces will not be part of the cast.

Most notably, Kordell Beckham, who won the season with girlfriend Serena Page, was not included in the cast list announced by Peacock in April 2025, prompting confusion — and concern — from fans.

However, PEOPLE confirmed he will appear in the series, just not as part of the main cast.

Another missing face is Rob Rausch, who was coupled up with Kassy Castillo before he was eliminated from the show.

Per the streamer, Beyond the Villa will follow "everyone’s favorite Season 6 Islanders around Los Angeles as they navigate new careers, evolving friendships, newfound fame and complex relationships outside of the Love Island villa."

Though he won't be as present in the spinoff, Kordell has another equally exciting opportunity ahead of him: the reality star has been cast in a new scripted series that will conflict with the filming of Beyond the Villa, PEOPLE confirmed in April 2025.

He will still be on hand supporting his girlfriend and his fellow Islanders, though, just not as regularly, as his rep notes that he and Serena are "definitely still going strong."

Kordell and Serena made things official just weeks after leaving the Fiji villa as the season's winners, and in October, Serena told PEOPLE that they were "progressing" in their relationship but making an effort to move at the pace that a "normal relationship would and not as fast as it does in the villa."

"We're able to just come out and slow things down a bit," she said.

Rausch was one of the more controversial cast members of Love Island: USA back in season 5 when he appeared during Casa Amor. The snake-wrangler made a comeback in season 6 when he joined the main cast, but has since spoken about eschewing the public spotlight and TV producers as a whole.

While doing a Q&A on his Snapchat in December 2024, a fan asked the reality TV star what the biggest lesson he learned from his time onLoveIsland was. He responded, "Never trust a TV producer."

However, his ire for TV may have dissipated since, in June 2025, Peacock announced that Rausch was joining the cast of The Traitors.

Rausch hasn't publicly stated why he won't return toBeyond the Villa.

Even host Ariana Madix will make a few cameos as the crew takes on Los Angeles. While a number of the couples are still together, some cast members will have awkward reunions as they face their exes.

In the trailer, Aaron and Kaylor reunite in one scene while Nicole Jacky meets Kendall for lunch — and the two have a lot to say.
