YouTuber and Twitch streamer Skumnut has pulled off another incredible Elden Ring feat, beating the game’s 200+ bosses without directly harming any of them. Skumnut’s skills are nothing new, as the streamer has achieved several different records playing Elden Ring, like beating the RPG with uncapped NG+ scaling without taking a hit. But this time, the player opted for a pacifist route, once again showing fans what he’s capable of.
Although there are several remarkable things about them, FromSoftware games are renowned for their challenging difficulty. The studio’s various titles offer distinct types of punishing experiences with unforgiving designs, ranging from unpredictable bosses that deal massive damage to tricky, deceptive platforming that can kill the player fairly easily. Since Elden Ring’s launch—the first open-world Souls game—many have argued that the title is FromSoftware’s most accessible in terms of difficulty, as it allows players to avoid certain challenges and gives more opportunities to improve character stats before facing mandatory encounters. Nevertheless, hardcore players always try to make Elden Ring’s experience even more complex by adding new layers of difficulty—and now, one fan has taken it a step further.

The player revealed that this has been his longest video yet—which makes sense, given how slow the process of defeating bosses this way can be. Pulling off a feat like that requires a specific strategy and build that involves using the Briar Set armor and the Rupture Crystal Tear. The armor allows the player to damage enemies when dodge-rolling, and the Crystal enables players to explode once per fight when used in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.
