Shannon Storms Beador Reveals How She Really Feels About Daughter Sophie's Life in NYC

Shannon Storms Beador knows that one of the greatest gifts a parent can receive is to see their children happy.

As she closes out her second year of empty-nester life, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom took some time to celebrate her daughter Sophie Beador’s latest milestone. Shannon’s firstborn, whom she shares with her ex-husband, took to social media this week to reflect on her first year as a New York City resident.

Sophie posted a carousel of some of her most memorable moments in the Big Apple, including dinners with friends, walks in the park, and fun-filled rooftop nights.

Shannon was among the dozens of people who congratulated Sophie in the comments section.

“Love these!!!!” the Housewife wrote, referring to the photos. “Love to see you so happy!!!”

Sophie also celebrated the occasion via TikTok, where she shared a video of herself dancing on a rooftop after a workout session.

Sophie moved to Manhattan just months after graduating from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Shannon confirmed her daughter relocated to the East Coast after accepting a job offer.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Sophie earned a bachelor’s degree in sports sales leadership and management and now works as an account services representative.

Shannon’s youngest daughters, 20-year-old twins Stella and Adeline Beador, graduated from high school in 2023 and have spent the past two years living in Paris and NYC, respectively. Stella is enrolled at the University of Southern California, but has been studying in Paris since her freshman year. Adeline is attending Parsons School of Design, where she’s pursuing a strategic design and management degree.

Shannon gushed over her family in a May 11 Instagram post celebrating Mother’s Day. The SoCal native shared a photo of her and her girls huddled on the beach with their adorable dog, Archie.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms, grandmothers, and mother figures who fill the world with love, strength, and care,” Shannon wrote. “Being a mother to my three girls has been the greatest gift in my life! It is so hard to come up with words that accurately describe how grateful I am [to] be their mother!”
