Seeker Music has acquired the catalogs of singer-songwriter Jay Sean, and his longtime collaborator Robert “Bobby Bass” Larow, as well as the publishing catalog of producer and songwriter Cardiak (Carl McCormick).

The first solo artist of South Asian origin to top the Billboard Hot 100, Sean’s chart-topping success spans the United States, UK, Asia and Eastern Europe with dancefloor hits like “Down” featuring Lil Wayne, and “Do You Remember” featuring Sean Paul and Lil Jon (both of which Larow co-wrote and produced), as well as “Ride It,” which was reworked by DJ Regard in 2019 and went viral on TikTok, earning platinum certification in the U.S. and 3x platinum certification in the UK.

As one half of the production team Orange Factory Music (OFM), alongside Jeremy Skaller (who helped discover Sean), Larow’s multi-platinum catalog includes production, writing and remixing credits on songs by the likes of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Usher, Shakira and Big Time Rush, in addition to his work with Sean.

Cardiak is known for his production on hits like H.E.R.’s “Damage” (which earned him two Grammy nominations), J. Cole’s “Love Yourz,” Drake and PartyNextDoor’s “With You,” PartyNextDoor and Rihanna’s “Believe It,” and Rick Ross’ “Diced Pineapples.” His production and songwriting also includes work on “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” by Eminem, and Coco Jones’ “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” off her 2025 debut album.

Seeker CEO, Evan Bogart said: “Seeker only invests in music we genuinely love. Jay Sean’s global hits are more than just songs, they’ve been part of our story, soundtracking our lives for over 15 years. You still hear them everywhere, and they resonate as strongly today. That’s the kind of impact we look for. With Robert Larow’s incredible songwriting catalog and Cardiak’s genre-defining work across hip-hop and R&B, we’re bringing together catalogs that have not only topped charts but continue to shape culture in lasting ways. We’re grateful for the opportunity to celebrate and champion these legacies, ensuring these timeless songs keep reaching new audiences around the world.”
