New details are emerging about Cosby Show actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner's wife.

It turns out that Warner was vacationing with his wife and daughter when he drowned in Costa Rica.

That's according to NBC News, which also reported that Warner's wife has now started a very difficult task.

His wife "is in the process of trying to bring his body back to the United States for a planned funeral," a source told NBC News on July 21.

The actor died in a tragic accident on a Costa Rican beach, NBC News reported.

Over the years, Warner shared family photos on his Instagram page, but he never revealed the names of his wife or their 8-year-old daughter.

He posted a photo on Instagram in 2020 that showed him with a woman, each holding his daughter's hand, and wrote, "Goodbye 2020! No matter how badly 2020 affected you, it showed what you’re made of. Warner also posted photos of his daughter on many occasions but typically hid her face from complete view.
