The Steve Miller Band, the classic rock band behind such hits as "Take the Money and Run," "The Joker," "Fly Like an Eagle" and "Jet Airliner," has canceled its entire upcoming U.S. tour due to the extreme weather events that have plagued the country in recent years.

The comments, fans are less than pleased.
"Are you serious? I’m a big fan and got tickets for this tour, but next time please find a better excuse," wrote one fan.

"Really weak. All this stuff going on, all the more reason people need an escape for a few hours," wrote a third fan.
A fourth fan added, "This really doesn’t make sense. There is no imminent danger. Play indoors?" and a fifth fan wrote, "Just say u didn't sell enough tickets."
The upcoming tour was scheduled to kick off on August 15 in Bethel, New York, and criss-cross the country before ending on November 8 in Anaheim, California. There were 31 tour dates in all.
