Elden Ring Nightreign Reveals New Everdark Sovereigns

GabriellaGames2025-07-198680

FromSoftware has announced that four new Everdark Sovereigns are headed to Elden Ring Nightreign starting on July 31. Players will want to use this time to prepare, as these bosses are the most powerful and dangerous enemies in Elden Ring Nightreign, offering more hardcore fans a larger challenge as they explore the dark and haunting world of Limveld.

While Elden Ring Nightreign is, as FromSoftware games tend to be, rather difficult, the toughness meter was turned up with the introduction of Everdark Sovereigns in the game's 1.01.3 update. These bosses are more difficult versions of the eight Nightlords in the game, with the creatures gaining new abilities and attacks that promise a serious challenge for even the most veteran of players. Everdark Sovereigns are rotated regularly, ensuring that fans are provided with fresh experiences, with Gaping Jaw, Darkdrift Knight, and Sentient Pest appearing over the past few weeks. Now, the developers have revealed the next round of terrifying beasts headed to the co-op title later in July.

This week, a new rumor surfaced indicating that FromSoftware is potentially working on an unannounced multi-platform project, which is currently codenamed FMC. Fans of the studio are already excited about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods, and this undisclosed new game is entirely unexpected. Some believe that this will be a remake or remaster of a past Dark Souls title, or something related to the Armored Core series.
