Though Deion Sanders Jr. is best known as the eldest son of Pro Football Hall of Famer and University of Colorado coach Deion Sanders, he has steadily carved out his own path as a musician and entrepreneur.

His latest project, "Red House," dropped on July 22, via his imprint Well Off Media and features 12 tracks, one of which has already come into the spotlight: "Betty Crocker 2."

When a listener praised the groove, Deion Jr. made a point of crediting the beat’s true architect: his younger brother, Shilo Sanders, resharing the song Friday along with the message, "That's Shilo's beat" on an Instagram story.

Deion Jr., 31, first came into the public eye on the football field at Southern Methodist (SMU), where he played defensive back for three seasons and set a single-game school record for kick return yards (203) during his sophomore season.

After graduation, he shifted gears, founding the lifestyle brand Well Off, launching a media‐production arm and gradually releasing singles before his debut album "Gideon" in 2021.

Meanwhile, his younger brother Shilo emerged as a collegiate standout under his father’s tutelage, first at Jackson State, where he earned second‑team All‑SWAC honors in 2021 after tallying four interceptions and 39 tackles, then at Colorado in 2023 and 2024.

Despite a strong finish of 134 total tackles, five passes defended, five forced fumbles and a pick‑six during the 2023‑24 seasons, Shilo went unselected in the 2025 NFL Draft.

He quickly signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on April 26, inking a three‑year, $2.97 million deal, per Spotrac.
