Donny Osmond was recently hospitalized but he wants fans to know he's doing just fine. The 67-year-old shared a video of himself during what appears to be surgery, but not even mysterious medical procedures can keep this singer down!
In the video, the "Hey Girl" singer can be seen in a hospital bed wearing a gown and a nasal cannula, and connected to no shortage of tubes and cords. But he's in excellent spirits, and when one of the medical staff in attendance asks, "When are you going to start singing?" he doesn't let the room (or his fans on social media) down and bursts into his own Disney classic, "I'll Make a Man Out of You."
Donny provided the singing voice for Captain Shang in the 1998 Disney classic Mulan, and considers his signature track from that film his "favorite rally song." In the clip from the surgery he is loopily singing "I'll Make a Man Out of You" before nodding off under anesthesia. Later in the clip it appears that he picks up right where he left off while in recovery!

One commenter wrote, "Donny singing under anesthesia is better than anyone straight up sober," and another added, "Glad you're doing well. Love the singing."

He captioned the video on TikTok, "What better way to power through a procedure than singing your alltime favorite rally song?! I'm feeling all better now! #Mulan #DonnyOsmond #Surgery."
Someone hilariously chimed in, "Missed opportunity to sing, 'I closed my eyes ... Drew back the curtain ... To see for certain ... What I thought I knew," referring to the song "Any Dream Will Do" from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in which Osmond famously played the title character.
